[afrikanisch], Mạmmea africana, Johanniskrautgewächs im tropischen West- und Zentralafrika; bis 35 m hoher Baum mit bis über 1 m dickem Stamm; das harte Holz wird v. a. in der Möbeltischlerei verwendet. Die essbaren Früchte (Durchmesser über 10 cm) haben ein aprikosenähnliches, süßsäuerlich schmeckendes Fruchtfleisch.
